Tomintoul Port Wood Cask strength, Whisky Castle, 56.65 alc/vol, 13 years. A great marriage by Robbie Fleming of 10 year Tomintoul from Bourbon refill casks placed in a Tawny Port wood for another 3 years. Meaty, gristy Tomintoul with heavy fruit and spices. So well rounded almost to be called "Portly". This is Tomintoul no longer quite so gentle more so - robust and magnificent in its delivery.
